Love is Calling

Galatians 2:11-17 - Jews and Gentiles live in Christ by Faith and not by Law

Continuing Verse by Verse, through Paul's letter to the Galatians we begin to see the problem of the false gospel that attempts to include being circumcised and keeping the law of Moses to the finished work of Jesus on the cross. The result of the false gospel is that the gentiles had to be a part of Israel through circumcision, and submit to keeping the law of Moses in order to have access to God. It meant being subject to the council of the Sanhedrin as the authority to teach them how to walk the accepted religious walk. Even today there are those in Messianic Judaism, and the Hebrew Roots Movement (HRM) who believe that one must be grafted into Israel and keep the law. It was a false gospel then, and it still is. Aim For the Mark!

Some say they don't sin because they are born again. But John writes that if we say we have not sin we're a liar and the Truth is not in us! John also writes that "whoever is born of God does not sin." What is it? Are you twisted in knots, worried about your salvation? Get Out of Your Box!

God is Spirit, Jesus said, plainly! He is the faithful witness through Jesus Christ. If God gives us gifts, do we trust Him? Or are fearful based on past experiences, or what a man has said in a denominational doctrine, or your own preconceptions? It's time for us to get out of the box we've placed ourselves in and destroy the box once for all, and live this life in complete abandon and relentless pursuit of Jesus Christ, and trust in the Spirit who is God!

Love God - Love People

It seems like a trite little saying. I've been guilty of disparaging the yard signs and church signs that say it. But I was wrong! It's so true and it is the powerful foundation of the fruit borne in our lives by the Spirit who is God! Galatians 5:22 tells us that the "fruit of the Spirit is love..." Are we listening? Loving as Jesus loves is supernatural and we can't do it on our own. Trying to love like Him is futile and frustrating, because we will always fail. But if we humbly submit to the Spirit's desire He will work love in us and through us. There is A Consuming Fire Coming - Are You on the True Foundation of Jesus?

Hebrews tells us that our God is a Consuming Fire. He will burn up everything that is made or done by man in the flesh, along with the very earth we live upon. But we will live through the fire, even if our works are burned, if we are built upon the Sure Foundation of Jesus Christ. 1st Corinthians Chapter Tree tells us that there is no other foundation, other than Jesus. It's not the Law, or you might use the term Torah. It's not man's religion of Judaism or traditional Christianity. Jesus came to deliver us from all of that! Join me and be encouraged to give up your throne and allow Him to rule on His, within us!

Saddle Up! Don't Stay Dead!

We were born dead! We didn't even realize it, but God knew, and He sent His Son to give us a brand new life in Him. He adopted us into the Royal Family in Jesus, and shared the same inheritance that He gave Jesus to us! Why are you still walking around dead? Why are you still living in fear, guilt, shame, alienating those who love you, and slowly, and then more quickly killing yourself? You don't have to. He is knocking on your door, to give you the free gift of everlasting life, beginning now. Will you open up and let Him in?

Adding the Law Nullifies the Gospel

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is glorious and stands alone and above the Law of Moses, the Ten Commandments, The Sanhedrin and all that comes with Judaism or any of men's religions, past present or future. There is no room in the Gospel for any additions, including the Law. The inclusion of the Law nullifies the Gospel! The letter to the Galatians is God using Paul to draw a line in the sand. 

He Has Given Us All Things! 2nd Peter One

Everything we need for this life, for living practically, and for godly living, is already been given to us in Jesus Christ! A life of virtue, knowledge, perseverance, godliness, kindness, love, kindness, self-control which are all fruit borne in us by the indwelling Spirit who is God!
