News Flash! When You Stand Before God He Won't Ask You About Your Doctrine!

My heart is heavy and I feel a defense of the pure and simple gospel is required. The faith within is what matters. We've lost loved ones lately, and many of us are facing grief, loss and hard times. Yet, we make this church life so unappealing, so unattainable, and ourselves so unapproachable by the our stupid religious doctrine! God doesn't care about your doctrine, nor mine. The gospel is literally the good news of the Kingdom of God. All we need is Jesus! I came out of the Hebrew Roots Movement and it is all about religious doctrine, and that doctrine changes as man thinks he has new "revelation." How stupid I was, to think I was so smart? How about you who are remaining in that complex, confusing and unattainable mindset, with the carrot dangling farther away with each step you take toward it?
